Finally the race weekend is coming up. I cycled some last 40km today, easy and relaxed. After a total of 2550km logged this year I just hope the 90km on Sunday will feel just as easy...
My team mates Lilian and Carla are ready for the trip as well, we will meet them Saturday morning, go get our numbers (1383), check in the bike and have a look at the track.
Not sure if I am nervous already, or if I just hope it will be over soon... I've done more than 90km during our trips and I know the challenge will rather be doing them in a good them than doing them at all, I know I will get back to the transition zone eventually and hand over the chip to Lilian. Yet, weather forecast right now is not the best, and it looks like I might get just as wet as Carla (our swimmer).
We shall see..... stay tuned, check into www.challenge-walchsee.at for the results on Sunday night, as I guess I will be off the radar until back in Switzerland.
